Streets of Nørrebro (Denmark, October 2025)

In the busy streets of Copenhagen, colourful walls resist and the art speaks for a free Palestine.

Walking through Nørrebro, a neighborhood about 15–20 minutes from the city center, felt eye-opening. The streets were lively and full of movement, but what stayed with me most were the walls. Layers of posters, paint, and murals carried messages of solidarity and resistance. In a country often described as one of the “happiest in the world.”

This series is a photo documentation from a long day of walking, observing, and noticing the quiet ways people leave their voices in public spaces. The background is a scan of a napkin from one of the Palestinian restaurants in the city, Gaza Grill.
